Baby gift

Dh's friends just had a baby, their third son, and we want to send them something.

I'm sure they have everything they need being that this is their third son, but what would a good gift be?

For third baby I always either go really practical ( BJ's size package of diapers and wipes) or something really nice that you don't tend to splurge on with a third... a really nice personalized blanket or something personalized from pottery barn kids ( like a hooded towel)

specifically for the baby or for the parents?
The parents could use gift cards for food or an edible arrangement or something like that probably.
for the baby clothes are always good or something personalized like a towel or special blanket.
you can also give diapers and/or wipes.
or a new special toy, like the lamaze toys are really nice and fairly inexpensive.

Even though it is their 3rd son I would buy a cute outfit, especially if the other kids were born in different seasons. Gift cards are always useful too!

I'm on #3 myself and I was able to reuse a lot from #1 for #2 but I found most of my original stuff was outdated, expired or just looking terrible. I have needed much more this time around than I did when I had #2.

Another favorite gift of mine was gift cards to local restaurants for take out! Made life so easy in the first few days home!
