Re: For those of you that had a Christening

DD was 4 mos., born in December, baptism in April. Usually my family baptizes sooner, but my church doesn't baptize during lent and the year she was born was a super early lent season/Easter so we had to wait til after Easter.

Re: For those of you that had a Christening

My first and 2nd were both 7 months. Christenings were in November and July.

My 3rd will be Christened just after her 1st birthday.

I wanted to do it sooner- but we just didn't have the money and were in the process of selling our house.

Re: For those of you that had a Christening

They were three and a half months

The crazy Italians like it ASAP and would have done it sooner but it was winter

Re: For those of you that had a Christening

DD was just over 3 months old - she was born on NYE and we had the christening on April 6. It was important to me to get it done early, and I would've done it sooner if she weren't in the NICU for so long.

Re: For those of you that had a Christening

My twins were 4mo and my youngest was 6 weeks. I scheduled them based on convenience for OOT guests.

ETA: I wanted to do the parties in my backyard so we did the first one in September and the second in May.
