Organic milk to regular milk

Trying to switch my almost 2 yr old from organic whole milk to regular whole milk. Have been mixing the two for the past fee days gradually and noticed that she has some random red spots (almost look like bug bites). Has a few on her legs one on belly, one on face, hand.

Has anyone dealt with an allergic reaction like this? The spots don't seem to bother her and she is acting herself.

I've honestly never heard of anyone "transitioning" from organic to regular milk. Why are you doing that? Just curious. Are you sure she doesn't actually have bug bites? My LO got a bunch this weekend!

We are transitioning bc we tried just switching once before and she wouldn't drink the regular. I guess she notices a difference and our dr suggested trying the transition.

There shouldn't be a reaction when switching between the two. Each kind is still milk.

Just curious why you would switch anyway?

This is anecdotal, but I have heard of People being sensitive to grain fed dairy/beef products.

But why are you transitioning? Organic would be much better. Sorry im confused never heard of someone choosing to switch to non organic after using organic and never heard of transitioning we use organic but many times When we run out we will grab a non organic at 7-11 kids never notice.

We recently transitioned from organic to non-organic after doing some extensive research. Now that the RSBT growth hormone has been eliminated by most farmers we didn't see the need to spend the money on organic milk and use our organic dollars elsewhere....

Just wanted ot share since you said you've never heard of anyone switching Chat Icon

Organic milk to regular milk

Conventional cows are fed large amounts of corn and grain. I don't know if this is scientifically possible , but maybe she is reacting to that ? I know this is apples to oranges but maybe it is worth something. My mom's cat is severely allergic to the grain/ corn in most cat food. A raw diet was suggested but we were told only organic meat to offset the possibility of the cat eating more grain and corn.

There could be something to this. I can't see any other reason for a reaction between the two different types of milk.

Not only because of the organic benefits , but because your dc is having a reaction to the conventional kind.
