S/O to Carseats in shopping cart
Are the strap covers OK? I bought ones at babies r us because when my son sleeps his face rubs right on the straps.
Should I remove them? They did not come with the seat.

They say that anything that didn't come with the seat or are made specifically for the seat by the manufacturer should not be used.

Any aftermarket product should not be used, as it has not been crash tested with the seat. So aftermarket shoulder pads, seat protectors, the Bundle Me, fancy seat covers, etc, should never be used.

I was wondering the same thing since we managed to lose one of the strap covers that came with our infant seat. I understand the bundle me and seat protector but didn't see much harm in the a thin strap cover since the ones that came with our seat were pretty bulky. I wonder if I can just order a replacement from chicco.

I told my mom to take them out before she takes the baby anywhere today. I'm so paranoid about everything I need to stop googling stuff!

I got really thin ones from BRU that i use with my kids. They are thinner than the ones that actually come attached to the car seats.
