PSA. Philly Please touch museum
GO!! You and your kids will thank me later!
It was so much fun. Our girls are 20 mo and they loved it. I can see them loving it even more when they get older and more into pretend play. We can't wait to take them back next year.

PSA. Philly Please touch museum
Is it similar to the Long Island Children's museum? Are you doing anything else nearby? Looking for places to take a 4 day weekend, but not too far. Was thinking of Sesame Place, but then I saw people saying there isn't much for young children at Sesame.

Not at all like the LICM! We went last year when we were visiting friends, but we'd go back in a heartbeat for just the museum! It was so fun. My daughter was 2 at the time and I'm hoping to take her back this fall.

I haven't been to licm but heard its not that great. This place was so awesome. It's like a huge play gym with dress up, pretend play, places they can crawl into like busses and trolleys. A full pretend supermarket with carts then a kitchen. Really cool. The zoo is nearby. There is also the aquarium in Camden nj which are all on the city pass so you can stay a few days and do them all.
We did sesame one day then the museum on the way home. It's about 45 mins from sesame

The Philly please touch museum is hands down 1000x better than the Long Island children's museum. It is 100,000x better than the nj children's museum too.

I actually went as a kid and I remember it being a lot of fun. I'm sure it's changed a lot since I went, but I can't wait to take DS!

We did a four day trip to Philly a couple months ago. Get the CityPass. It covered the Please Touch Museum (my kids LOVED it and could have spent all day there), Philadelphia Zoo, Franklin Institute, and Adventure Aquarium. Well worth it for the kids- I highly recommend it!

We are doing the Philly Trip next week, also Sesame place. I decided not to get the city pass only bc I got the living social deal for PTM, and I don't think we will make to all these attractions. But it was definitely a good price when I looked into it!

This is so good to know! Can I ask where you stayed? We were planning to do the Aquarium in Camden but we may make a weekend of it and do the Museum too.

There were some older kids there about 7 yo on a school trip. If they still like to pretend play they will love it.

We went to Sesame the day before and stayed over there. We didn't stay in Philly. We went there on the way home.
