Motion detectors and cats

Motion detectors and cats
Not with cats but we could not have a motion detector because my Dog would constantly set it off. So we just have windows and doors alarmed.

Motion detectors and cats
Most companies have motion detectors that won't detect items under 60 pounds.

That's what we currently have installed. My cats have set it off several time and the company moved it. When I spoke to a service person they said it's not immune to cats (contrary to what the tech and sales dept. say) we are still in our test period and I am very worried about false alarms. Kitty's will set them off, as well as helium balloons. Some have adjustable sensitivity however.
