Commack/Smithtown Pediatricians?
Hi everyone,
I'm new to this forum but thought it was a perfect place to get some recommendations. My husband and I are expecting our first baby in a couple of months and I need to find a pediatrician. Can anyone make any recommendations in the Commack/Smithtown area?

Commack/Smithtown Pediatricians?
We see Dr. Catalano at Commack Pediatric Associates. We love her. I have also seen 1 other doctor there and we liked her as well.
We started at Smithtown Pediatrics and were very unhappy, although many people on here (I got the recommendation from here for them) love the practice and have never had issues. So it may have been the specific doctor we were seeing.

Commack/Smithtown Pediatricians?
We love RBK Pediatrics in Commack. We have seen all of the doctors in the practice and like them all, but our primary doctor is Dr. Bellvovin and we LOVE him!!

We have been at smithtown pediatrics for over 6 years andlove it. There are some drs I prefer to others but overallI have nothing but good things to say. Also love the addition of walk in hours. No appointment needed. Its saved us a trip or two to pm pediatrics.

We use Branch Pediatrics and primarily see Dr Keith Ancona, but have seen all the pediatricians in the practice for one thing or another. Can't say anything bad about the practice and we have been using them for over 3 years.

I used Smithtown Pediatrics from the time my son was an infant up until he was about 8. Horrible practice IMO. Not even sure why I stayed that long. Their staff is just rude, and unprofessional. We saw Dr. Bernstein, and while he was a good medical doctor, he was a horrible doctor when it came to developmental (my son is on the autism spectrum). I can't recommend them. I have a family member that goes to Branch and likes them.

we also use smithtown peds for all 3 of my kids. We first saw Dr martinez who is no longer with the practice. We now see the ped his kids saw Dr Valmassoi.
We love them

Same for us!!! I love Dr. Valmossoi. Dr. Martinez was always my second choice when Dr. V wasn't available. Was upset when he left. Only thing is Dr. Valmossoi does not take on new patients anymore. Or so I have heard. I'm having a third anyday now an she will take on your newborn if you already had kids going to her.
I recommend Dr. Jamie Parles. I like him a lot too.
