I love my daughter!
 of COURSE I do!
But last night she gave me this thing for Mother's Day (she spent the weekend at Auntie's so I think it was my aunt who took her shopping of course).
Before I could say a word she says "I know its missing a flower" I actually hadn't noticed. I said "No its not, that's the flower growing in your heart and smile" and she smiled, hugged and kissed me.
I love that even this young I can make her blush and feel sentimental. She's very good at feeling touched.
This morning she told me exactly where to put this in my office. Very specifically. Then said "You take yours to work and I'll carry mine here" and patted her heart.
Man.. This kiddo!
I try every day to make her know and feel how much I love her. I miss my father terribly but I know he knew I loved him so very much. I want her to know that I love her all the time and to never doubt for a second that my love is unwavering and unbreakable. Even when she is mad at me or I'm mad at her she'll say "You still love me, don't you" and I answer "always"... and I will ask back "are you mad at me?" .. "yes, but still love you most" and she storms off. LOL! Just have to be sure to fill every single day with as much love as I can pack in!
Then we have these crazy soft and random sweet moments and both of us seem to melt into each other. This kiddo gets me!
