Maybe my DD isn't that smart, but at 2 she couldn't steer the power wheels, so we hardly used it. Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon She is almost 3 now, so we will try it again soon, but I'm still not sure she will steer it properly.

We use the trike much more frequently - she loves it.

DD got a radio flyer trike for her 2nd birthday. She loves it. She's only gotten to try it a few times so far and she's very close to being able to pedal it herself as long as she's on a paved surface.

On the other hand, she had a fit in TRU this week bc we wouldn't let her drive a motorized car like that!

Thanks guys...
I was leaning towards the car, but just read a review on Amazon that said the motor is pretty loud. DD is scared of certain loud noises, so I don't think she'd use it...Bummer.
SO, I'll get her the trike. I'm glad to hear that the ones who have it, really love it.

when DD was 3 she couldnt steer her barbie jeep, so i would go with the radio flyer.

i love the fact that there is a handle for the adults...makes bike riding SO much easier.

I'm glad you posted this, because I've been thinking about ride on toys for my DD's 2nd b-day. My personal feeling is that I prefer toys that make the kids do the work. The Barbie car looks awesome, but if my DD is playing outside, I want her using her energy, not just sitting there being driven along..lol!
