Mothers Day
This will be my first mothers day. Just wondering how everyone celebrates, and if you include your mom and MIL.

Mothers Day
We have spent it with my mother in law but only because my mom lives almost 3 hours away and we have invited my mil (I love her!) and am happy she joins us.
One year we had a picnic, last year we went to the zoo.

Mothers Day
Last year we had family in from out of state so we did a barbecue. This year going to a brunch. If my mil lived in the state she would be included. We are going out with my brother's family and ILs. Then we'll probably bring dd to a local park to let her run around.

we spend mothers day alone - me, dh, and dd (and this year maybe #2 if it decides to come early).
last year (my first mothers day) we went out for brunch which was super easy since dd was only 3 months old...and DH made me a nice dinner.
this year DH will make me dinner and not sure about brunch. we have a family bbq wtih my mom (and her side of the family) the day before mothers day.

Mothers Day
Last year was my first and both my mom and my MIL were away so DH, DD and I did brunch. No clue what we're doing this year since everyone will be home.

Mothers Day
Last year DH & I were away for my 40th bday and came home on Mothers day so we spent the rest of the day just at home with DS.
My Mom is in FL so we never do anything with her. My MIL we do something with but sometimes shuffle the days

I usually spend it with my side of the family. We either do a brunch with all of my aunts, uncles, cousins, Grandma, etc. OR I have my parents over for a BBQ.

It's my first too. My SIL is hosting brunch, so it will be,her family and mine. Now way is my MIL invited, I'd rather  They live far away thank goodness

Mothers Day
We usually see both my mom and MIL. Sometimes, we combine and do something all together. Other years, we celebrate with one, then the other later in the day. This year, I am due with Baby#3 the Monday before Mother's Day. So to make it easier on us, my sister and BIL (who live down the block from our hospital) decided to host and invite both or mom and my ILs. That way, if I go into labor while I'm there, we can head straight to the hospital, or if I've had the baby and am still in the hospital, it makes it easy for people to come visit, etc.

We have both my parents and my in laws over our house for a bbq. I give presents to my mom, mil, and my grandma. Edit to add that our siblings and my grandma come too.

We spend the day with my mom and grandma. Men usually barbq and we just hang out. Were thinking this year we may attempt brunch together.

If DD doesn't work, we alternate Mother's Day each year with my family and then his. Last year and this year he is working so I will be at my sisters with our mom. I'm very excited.
