My twins are 20 months old. Are they too young to take to the museum.

DH's cousin and I met up there over February break. Her youngest was like 15 months at the time and had a blast. They have a small play area for toddlers as well.

The toddler play area is cute, but idk if they'll really "get" the rest of the museum. Make sure you have a coupon or library pass.

I know it's not the popular opinion but I'm very disappointed with the quality of this museum for the price. A lot of things are broken, abused, missing pieces. My DD was disappointed as well.

I agree. The Brooklyn Children's museum is WAY nicer!

Def not! I took my twin boys around 21 months and they had a ton of fun. They loved the music room, blocks area, bubbles and the toddler room.

I 100% agree, we went in February adn I felt like half the stuff was broken. I thought it totally needed a refurb... Thank god we had free tickets from the library.

I definitely think they would enjoy a fair bit of the exhibits they have, and if you can't get a library pass (ours is always taken out for weeks at a time) you can always find coupons online for a few dollars off.

Totally agree! We were SO disappointed. Until the place gets a full refurb, we won't be going back any time soon at all.

The bubble room was all foam, no bubbles. The sand area had no sand in it either. It really was ridiculous.

Agreed. I took DD at about 22 months and she had fun but most of it was over her head. Aside from that I was disappointed that it wasn't as well kept up as I expected it to be.

I agree...but my 12 month old did have fun....I think he just liked the freedom to move around though more than what was there.

Well I purchased a Groupon for $12 and plan on checking it out. For $12 I am not going to have hight hopes. I know my twins will enjoy the freedom of exploring a new environment.
Thanks everyone!
