Tickets in Nassau (expired inspection/insurance)
So I got two tickets: expired inspection and no proof of current insurance coverage. I have copies of current insurance card and inspection card. Do I mail it with the ticket? Do I plea guilty or not guilty?

They won't accept your insurance card. You need to get an original letter from your insurance company stating you were covered during that time. There should have been instructions given to you when the tickets were issued.

There is nothing about submitting insurance information.

Hmm...
DH was pulled over a couple of months ago for a broken taillight and we didn't have an up to date insurance card in the car. We got 2 tickets and were told that if we got the light fixed within 24 hours of the ticket and brought the car to a Nassau precinct to verify it was fixed, they would get rid of the taillight ticket. We also got written instructions on how to get rid of the no insurance ticket. However, it's been almost 4 months and our insurance company has yet to send it despite multiple followup attempts to get it. I think DH ended up just paying it. It's my understanding that insurance companies aren't good at sending that letter.
ETA: Here's the info
