Fashion designer L'Wren Scott (and Mick Jagger's gf) found dead
L'Wren Scott dead: Fashion designer and Mick Jagger girlfriend, found hanging in apartment
Body was found by assistant in her apartment on 11th Avenue.
L'Wren Scott, fashion designer and model, was found dead Monday in Manhattan, authorities said. She was found hanged in her apartment. L'Wren was also Mick Jagger's girlfriend.
Mick Jagger’s girlfriend was found hanged to death in her Manhattan apartment Monday, police said.
The body of L’Wren Scott, 49, was found by her assistant at 200 11th Ave. around 10 a.m., police said.
Police did not suspect foul play, a source said, but the Medical Examiner’s Office will determine a cause of death.

Oh no!!!  She always inspired me being that she was tall like myself. I loved her clothes and style.

A few reports out there are saying she sent a text to her assistant to come over and let herself in with a key she left for her. She also sent out a few tweets around the time of her death. And she was found "hanging" from a doorknob.
I wonder if this was an accident and she was into asphyxiation.

How does one hang themselves from a door knob, and how do you do that being as tall as she is?
I just read thaat Mick is inconsolable and they were on great terms. He's trying to get back to NYC from Australia right now.
So so sad.

I was wondering the same thing.
They said she was hanging by a scarf from a doorknob. The only thing I could think of that would make sense if it was a duplex? Otherwise there's no height . Even still though a doorknob wouldn't hold the weight. ?

Unfortunately it does make sense. Her company was having trouble and she just bailed out of London fashion week last minute. I would think it had to do with that.

I also just read a comment on Newsday that made sense. If someone tied something to a doorknob and then threw it over the door, it would be high up on the other side of the door. So terrible.

It reminds me of Adrienne Shelley, who was an actress and writer. She was found hanging in an apartment she used as a studio and it was reported as suicide, but when they investigated further they concluded it was murder and arrested someone.

I think people would say something if she died although she has disappeared from the face of the earth and no one is saying much of anything right now. She is a C list celebrity but is A list in her own little corner of the celebrity world. Now they are not only separated but he is having his way with groupies and celebrities and other people taller than him. There are reports she had a breakdown because he was cheating on her. She canceled a huge event she was working on and has retreated into a hospital to get help although some people say she is hiding out at her home with medical professionals. You would think people would be talking by now but just the whispers getting louder. I think when her boyfriend gets back home the whispering will be much louder.

Yes- she was killed by a worker. I forgot that they buried her thinking she'd killed herself. And she had a little girl.
This one more likely is suicide though, based on the info that's coming out.
