HIMYM
I thought last night's episode was the best all season.
I love how they tied all of it together - how many close calls he had with the mother over the years.

Liked it a lot and how it gets tied together. Wish we still see how they "meet." 
Would've been nice if they changed her up a little. It's like they filmed this episode in one day and she just changed clothes.

Agreed! Best all season! Loved how the naked man was tied in. But I do think they should changed up her appearance slightly.

ITA with everyone, definitely the best episode of the season. First time I didn't spend the entire episode on my phone or iPad only half watching.

I finally caught up and watched. The show has been seriously lacking as of late...but this episode was great. I loved all the tie ins! The Naked Man, Maclarens, The yellow umbrella, Ted teaching the wrong class and it's hers, etc. And it was sort of sad, but in a good way. I really loved the mother singing at the end and Ted hearing it.
I just REALLY wish that they had showed her getting ready to go on a blind date from the matchmaking company. I still maintain that the girl who never showed up for Ted's date was her!

It was SO sweet when he said that he had heard her sing it thousands of times but that was the best time

made me even think abt the first time me and DH met and kissed
BUT, as much as I loved all the tie ins with the HIMYM mythology I didn't think it was funny. Just nice that they acknowledged all the "almost" times they met including Rachel Bilson dating Ted and being mother's roommate LOL
wish it was a bit funnier and her looks was changed up for each time of her life
also, was it just me or was it really weird that she dated only one guy between losing her boyfriend at 21 and until she met Ted? I know losing someone that she loved that much was hard, but only one date in 5-6 yrs??? a bit strange for an early 20 something girl in NYC...

Lily was very mad that Marshall took the judge position without talking to her and while they are in the midst of moving to Rome for her job. Basically she finally was realizing a life long dream and he inconsiderately chose himself over her. So when she confronted him, he blew up and told her that she already left him once to chase her art dream and that if it worked out in San Francisco she would have never came back. Basically invalidating their entire life after she came back. Obviously she lost it and left.

Nevermind just saw someone responded to you haha...
As for this episode yes it was better, I'm glad it wasn't a "filler" episode as the past few have been. I have actually been watching the series beginning from season 1 on Netflix and never realized how much funnier the show used to be in earlier seasons.
