1 year old feeding schedule
Please tell me what your 1 year old's eating schedule looks like. Including milk, meals, and snacks.
I'm transitioning DD to whole milk. She used to drink 32 oz of formula plus 3 meals. I'm trying to get her to 16oz milk, 3 meals and snacks. This means cutting out a bottle. I feel so clueless!
Snack & meal ideas are welcome too! TIA

DS is 11.5 months and we're starting the transition to milk this weekend. He's on 2 or 3 bottles a day, 3 meals and 1 snack. I feel like he eats all day long so I don't know where you'd fit a 2nd snack in.
Basically...
wake up - 6 oz bottle
mid-morning - breakfast (table foods)
early afternoon - lunch (table foods)
mid- afternoon - snack (usually fruit)
4pm-ish - 6 oz bottle (only sometimes, often he skips this bottle)
evening - dinner (table foods + fruit)
8:30pm - 8 oz bottle and bed

grace is on all table food and milk! turning 1 in 6 days. she eats pretty much everything and her schedule is
630am 6-8oz milk
830am breakfast
1130am lunch
130 6-8oz milk
4 dinner
630 6-8oz bottle
she sleeps 630-630

Thanks, this is helpful. I too felt like DD was eating all day long. Just wanted to be sure it was normal!

3 meals a day with milk and water or juice throughout the day.
Nothing special just during our meal times.

DD cut way back on milk on her own. I'd say by 13 months she was down to 2-3 bottles a day and at 12 months she was still taking up to 5!
At 12 months:
Wake up with bottle
Breakfast: waffles, eggs, fruit, yogurt etc
Am bottle
Lunch: fruit, veggie, chicken nuggets (yummy Dino brand), cheese, ravioli (gerber), pastas.
Pm bottle
Snack: fruits, veggies, gerber snacks, goldfish cracker, whole wheat ritz, yogurt, cheese or bottle
Dinner: similar to lunch but try to incorporate what we were eating
Bedtime bottle

Yes but I think it was more decreasing milk than it being whole milk. We offer a lot of water and that has helped. Also dairy can be binding so limit how much fair you give with other binding foods like rices, apples and bananas.

What signs did you notice that showed he was lactose intolerant?
I'm thinking DD might be. She was always fine on gentlease but I think she may be having issues with dairy.

6:30/7- 9 oz milk in bottle
9:30- table food and water in sippy
12:30 same
Sometimes a little snack btwn.
4:30 table food and water
7:30 9 oz milk bottle.

My dd would have watery poops right after bottle. We use lactaid.
