Alyssa Milano Responds To Jay Mohr's Post-Baby Fat-Shaming Jab In Classiest Way Possible
Actress and mother Alyssa Milano responded to comedian Jay Mohr's fat-shaming joke in the classiest way possible.
The comic made a crude joke about the 41-year-old's body after the two attended the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Champion's Awards in Las Vegas on Dec. 6. After the show, Mohr, who hosted the event, made some comments about Milano's post-baby body during a radio interview, according to the New York Daily News.
“She was one of the presenters... She’s very tiny,” he said of Milano, whom he called "Melissa" instead of Alyssa. “It seems like she had a baby and said, ‘I don’t really give a s**t’ ... I read it on her gut... Somebody sat in the director’s chair and was not wearing Spanx and I was like, ‘Jesus Christ.'"
The "Mistresses" actress, who gave birth to a baby boy in 2011, took to Twitter to respond to Mohr's remarks.
Mohr is married to actress Nikki Cox, with whom he has a 2-year-old daughter. Some bloggers questioned how he would feel if his daughter was on the receiving end of similar remarks.

Adding, "t's not any woman's duty to starve herself so that someone she hardly knows, and most likely never wants to know, thinks she's sufficiently skinny."
Ironically, in November, Cox guest-blogged on Mohr's website and pointed out that society has become so mean.
"As a culture we have become incredibly mean and snarky," she wrote, in part. "We’ve become cruel and malicious and we keep trying to pass it off as a big joke. People on Twitter and bloggers say something they think is super cutting, biting and hilarious but really it’s just mean and [sh***y]."
What an ass! No wonder his wife f'ed up her face with all that plastic surgery. He probably shames her as well.

Of course he's now back tracking and apologizing.
When Jay Mohr essentially called Alyssa Milano too heavy for her size after having a baby, we thought his body-shaming was a result of one of two things:
Either he's blind - because gurl is looking fantastic! - or he's just talking out of his a** to get attention!
But the comic has come forth with his hat in his hand and his foot out of his mouth with a third option. He tweeted:
So "fat-shaming", as she put it, a girl as great-looking as Alyssa was such an absurd comment that it couldn't be taken as anything, but facetiousness?
We'll give Jay the benefit of the doubt that he didn't MEAN to be mean. Comedy is tough, and not every joke gets across, especially in print where you can't always hear sarcasm.
But Jay, you've been happily married for seven years! You're telling us that joking about a woman's weight has EVER worked out for ya? And a mother's weight at that??
We sincerely hope Alyssa accepts the apology; forgiveness is good for the soul. But still, you should know better, Jay.

Alyssa could have gained 100lbs (which she hasn't as far as I noticed on a recent interview) and Nikki Cox could be a size 00 and this would still be an asshole thing to say. it doesn't really matter what either of them look like IMO.
Wanted to add Jay Mohr has put on a bit of weight himself since first becoming 'famous'. When did he give birth??

I was referring to what Nikki did to herself since she's been with Jay. She changed her whole look. Wouldn't be surprised if he was behind it.
