Homeland - spoilers
I can't believe Quinn shot carrie!!!!! OMG i was dying during that whole scene. So much happened last night!
- I guess the girl who works for Saul is having a hard time with what happened?? not sure where that story is going.
- i thought something was up with either Saul's wife, or the guy she was having an affair with. Guess he is just using her? But who does he work for???
- I hate the incoming director for the CIA
- I couldn't believe Carrie was going to blow up the whole operation for the bomber - i hope tehy get that law firm 
- and the bestpart...WTH happened to Brody???!!! so glad he is coming back what do you think Saul is asking him to do? has he been drugged up this whole time??

When Carrie got out of the car and almost blew her cover I was losing it!!
Not sure where they're going with the Fara story line either.
I guess that guy was using Saul's wife the whole time which explains why he was so upset when she broke it off.
Loved the scene where Saul made the Senator (future director of the CIA) leave the room because he didnt' have the proper security clearance 
And I still can't believe Carrie is pregnant.
Was happy to see Brody for all of 2 minutes. Poor guy is always being held captive somewhere  . I assume his been drugged up on heroin this whole time. Not sure what Saul has in mind for him.
Can't wait til next week!!

Love Tracy Letts (the bad Senator). He's a good actor, but is primarily known as a playwright - he wrote August: Osage County, Killer Joe, and Bug. Don't know how good the film version of August will be, but the stage version was great.

i loved the scene too with the security clearance. Totally forgot to mention the pregnancy - I'm glad they pretty much confirmed it was Brody's and tied up the confusion on it. Soon she should be showing though - i wonder when she will tell Saul and Quinn she is pg??!!

Ahhhh! Just finished watching this episode and...wow. I can't believe Quinn shot Carrie! I was so happy to see Brody at the end. I kept wondering when he would show up again. I was shocked by Saul's wife's boyfriend. Never saw that coming. Great episode! Can't wait for next week

I think this season stinks. I used to be on the edge of my seat and now I find it really really dragging. I hate when they r doing with Brody, I wish they would have killed him off or left us never knowing where he is b/c I feel like his character is ruined.

Oh I totally believed Quinn shooting her! Because he'd rather do it knowing he could "wing" her rather than really causing her damage. Although in the ambulance they said he might have gotten her artery. Not good! And that's how someone is going to find out about her pregnancy because now they're definitely going to need an xray!
I don't care much for the financial lady. Unless she's going to be the undoing of everything because she doesn't believe in the route they're taking.
With the guy bugging the house, I thought he was a jilted lover but to find the exact mouse, that's another level. I would be very surprised if Saul and Carrie felt comfortable talking about ops and stuff in their own houses, without having some kind of security or bug sweepers, you know?
Seeing Brody was definitely bittersweet. I can't help but think of the terrible things that Saul has done to people, the carnage he leaves in his wake. Just like Jibadi (sp?) said. Saul is pretty free with other people's lives.
Does anyone really think that Senator is going to take over? I can't imagine how that would work, or what the heck Saul is going to do when he's out in 9 days. Maybe he'll be out and then they'll need him desperately for something, just like Carrie in Season 1.

i loved when Saul locked the senator in the conference room
gotta say, totally over the Brody story. DH and i were saying how much we liked this season now that he hasn't really been in it as much. But, the preview for next week shows he's going to come back.
I'm assuming Saul is going to have him do some dirty work for the CIA as 'redemption' for his previous transgressions. He knows Brody wasn't the Langley bomber, but doesn't fully trust him. Maybe he'll even send him over to Iran to track Jivadi.. not sure.
Quinn shooting Carrie was good - she needs to be taken down a notch sometimes. She lets her feelings for Brody totally cloud her judgment and she was about to ruin the entire operation!
I really really really hope they don't kill off Quinn - he's the dark horse hero in my eyes.

yes, the most exciting parts are the last 5 minutes. I literally get up and do things around the house bc I get bored. I used to love this show, bored of it now

I think the preview showed Saul asking Brody to shoot someone, wasn't he a sniper? Do you think that Saul knows who the mole is? Does anyone else suspect that guy who is Saul's right hand man at the CIA?

I know, I feel the same way! I was just really confused because of how quickly he seemed to align himself with Saul once Saul told him that he had the Iranian guy in custody.

I agree. Maybe it's because I just love Mandy Patinkin. He wouldn't lie to me!
However, I don't trust Dar Adal. I can't tell if he's really loyal to Saul or to Sen Lockhart.

I was actually glad that Quinn shot Carrie! Her total disregard for Protocol/procedure is so annoying. Actually, her character in general has been pissing me off lately...especially her "crazy eyes" and ugly cry face lol.
I haven't been too excited about this season so far, although it is a little better now that they stopped focusing on the Dana storyline. I'm interested to see what happens with Brody next week.
