If anyone cares - The Jonas Brothers Officially Call It Quits
The Jonas Brothers are no more -- at least for now.
A few weeks after they canceled their 19-day tour because of a "creative rift in the band," the three brothers told People magazine they are officially breaking up.
All three brothers weighed in.
"It's over for now," Kevin Jonas, 25, told the magazine.
"It's really hard to say 'forever,'" added Nick Jonas, 21. "We're closing a chapter, for sure."
"It was a unanimous decision," Joe said.
Apparently, Nick Jonas, although the youngest in the group, was the first to voice worries about the band's future.
"I was feeling kind of trapped," he said. "I needed to share my heart with my brothers."
Kevin Jonas announced at the end of August that he and wife Danielle were expecting a baby girl. The band's rep said on Oct. 9, when the band announced the cancelation of its tour, that the impending baby has nothing to do with the band's troubles.
The New Jersey-born brothers, who formed the band in 2005 and starred in 2010's "Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream," were nominated for a Grammy Award in 2008 for Best New Artist.
You can watch the Jonas Brothers speak out on the split on "Good Morning America" tomorrow at 7 a.m. ET on ABC.

I had no idea they were still relevant in the music industry. I thought One Direction & The Wanted dethroned them.

I thought so, too. I see One Direction ish everywhere. On a side note, did anyone see this video?
