As for the baby's mama? She and Pauly "didn't have a previous relationship," but the new dad "is hoping to develop a relationship" with her.

Looks like it's going to be GTL plus diaper duty for Pauly D!
The Jersey Shore alum welcomed a baby girl on Tuesday, Oct. 22, a source confirms to E! News exclusively. The 33-year-old DJ (full name: Paul DelVecchio) is "very excited" to become a daddy and "has always wanted kids."
As for the baby's mama? She and Pauly "didn't have a previous relationship," but the new dad "is hoping to develop a relationship" with her.
"[He] wasn't exactly planning for it to happen this way," says a source, "but God works in mysterious ways."
And Pauly is "ready to jump in and take responsibility as a father," says a source.
This is the first child for Pauly, but he does have some experience with babies! In 2012 when Snooki was pregnant with baby Lorenzo, the Pauly D Project star told People, "I want to be Uncle Pauly...And I want to be a part of that baby's life, because Snooki is one of my best friends now, and I'd love to be with her when she's delivering the baby, and I'd love to babysit."
He vowed to "to teach this kid how to deejay," but wasn't so sure about getting into the"diaper changing."
"I don't know so much," he said. "Maybe I'll give [the baby] back to her for that."
As an uncle, that's acceptable, but now that Pauly D's a daddy, he's going to have to do the dirty work!
The baby news was first reported by TMZ.

Supposedly it was a fling in Vegas and the mom has been raising the daughter in jersey. She is supposedly a few months old and he took a paternity test and just confirmed it to tmz today.

He actually seems like a halfway decent guy... as far as the cast of Jersey Shore goes anyway.

If so, in this case, the condom just broke or something?
I feel like they all have sex with anything that moves and I really do wonder how much protection is used.

The 25-year-old woman, who goes by the name Amanda Markert, fell pregnant after after a fling in Las Vegas last year with the Jersey Shore star.
The DJ only spent 'one night' with the brunette, a former Hooters waitress, and was only recently told about his five-month old daughter Amabella.
A source tells MailOnline the pair are now poised for a bitter custody and financial battle over the child. The insider says: 'He wants some type of custody of the child and that's what he is fighting for right now.'She thought he was just going to pay and not have anything to do with the child, but that's not the case.'
The source adds: 'Initially he was shocked of course, but he's a really decent guy, he's stepped up and wants to do the right thing.
'He's a little overwhelmed but he's very excited about it.'
TMZ reports he ‘doesn't think the woman is a fit mother’ and according to court documents wants the court battle to take place in Nevada because New Jersey is more likely to favour the mother.
However, Amanda wants the case heard in her and Pauly's native New Jersey.
While the DJ could end up having to pay more child support if the case is heard in Nevada, custody of the tot is said to be the most important thing for the reality TV star, according to TMZ
According to the website, Pauly believes Amanda, sees the child as a ‘winning lottery ticket’.
While the DJ has promised to take care of the tot financially, he is said to be worried that Amanda, who has another child from a previous relationship, is looking to cash in on his fame.
It hasn't helped that she recently posted a picture of the tot surrounded by cash
