Agreed. And in the article Kanye said he wanted to put it up there on the big screen for everyone to see. Everyone? You rented the stadium so no one else could be there. Who's everyone?

I think that since Kanye tries to be a private person and has already said he does not want to be involved in the reality show and does not want North on the show either that they will not televise the wedding.
I think it is romantic that he rented out the venue and had her family and friends there. He may be a douche in the persona he sends out to the public, but I think the real person is genuine and believes in the love of marriage and family. I think that the loss of his mom really changed him but he had to keep up that public persona that he always had.

Of course it does. But it's part of the lifestyle. I can't imagine walking around with a ring that big on my finger everyday.... but hey, I'm also not likely to ever have a ring of that size...

It does look bad. The stone is huge and the band is so thin, it looks upbalanced. It is a bad design, actually there is no design. I guess he figured with 15 cts he didn't need to put any more thought into it.

i feel like he truly loves her and wants to make a life with her. I hope she feels the same way and is doing all this for what she wants and what makes her happy, not what she wants us to see.
The ring does nothing for me, anything that big is just nuts and looks so fake to me. But that is who she is.
On a side note Kris Humphries gave her a bigger ring and i think nicer.

These two annoy me to no end, but I think it's a sweet proposal. It was a little bit private (him) and a little bit over the top (her). I think Kanye put some real thought into it. Of course the ring is huge. It has to be bigger than Khloe's because everything Kim does has to be better than her sisters.

Yep. Her family came running out of the dugouts. fireworks went off when she said yes. He had a 50 piece orchestra.

I agree. He looks happy, and they genuinely seem happy. I wish them the best-- at least for the sake of their child.
I think a poster said something along the lines of who cares they already have a child, or something like that. There are a few posters that have children that aren't married. If they get married, we would congratulate them. I don't get that whole logic.
Anyway, I hope it isn't a publicity stunt. I wish them the best and I am no fan of Kim or Kayne.

I said it. I meant that they are already together and pretty seriously tied together since they have a child but getting married for them isn't a big deal. They don't value marriage like most. They get married and divorced and get married again. This is Kim's 3rd time. They have a ton a money to spend to spend on weddings and divorces too. So all in all getting married isn't really a big step for them.
