Alan Thicke says Robin Thicke and Paula Patton could be the next Brangelina
Start thinking of a celebrity couple nickname! Alan Thicke, predicts his son, Robin Thicke, and daughter-in-law, Paula Patton, could be the next Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.
At ACT Today's 8th annual Denim and Diamonds for Autism event at the Four Seasons Hotel in Westlake Village, Calif. on Sunday, Oct. 6, the 66-year-old actor spoke to Us Weekly about how proud he is of the couple's career success.
"It's amazing. It's a rocket ride," Alan told Us of Robin's hit song "Blurred Lines." "I'm thrilled for him. I've always dabbled in music. If I could have grown up to be Robin Thicke, I would have. But I'm glad somebody in the family did." The Growing Pains star is as equally thrilled for actress Patton. "She has a great movie, Baggage Claim, and is getting wonderful reviews for that," he gushed.
Alan also told Us that he believes the couple's success will only continue to soar. He shared, "I told [Robin], 'You're a power couple now. If you only adopt a few Ethiopian kids, you'd be the next Brangelina.'" (Robin, 36, and his wife of eight years are already parents to son Julian, 3.)
In a recent joint interview with Prestige Hong Kong Magazine, the spouses spilled the secrets to their happy marriage and how they help each other through the tough times. "I don't know if I would still be alive in some ways if it wasn't for Paula," Thicke said. "She's been my rock, my muse, my inspiration and I love her. The whole way." "I've been there for his down moments and he's been there for mine," Patton, 37, added. "Life is full of peaks and valleys. Robin has always been a great person to remind me to celebrate now. Even when it looks like I've got a role but don't know for sure, he's like, 'Let's celebrate!'"

Oh dear lord, give me a break.
I would put money on the fact that once "Blurred Lines" stops getting radio play, Robin Thicke will disappear. I think he should just enjoy his 15 minutes............I doubt anyone is going to really give a crap about him and his wife for the long term. Flash in the pan fame.
