Soooo I took my newly single mom out...
..to the Clubhouse at Bethpage Golf Course. There was live music and she wanted to get out. She was having a really rough night (my dad leaving her has been really hard)...
Well we get there and it was a total meat market for people my Mom's age. People dressed awful and getting wasted. Men standing like piranahas staring down the women.
I don't think my Mom has been to a bar since college....
But, the #1 sign that this place wasn't for my Mom.... I am 99% sure I ran into Dina Lohan in the bathroom.
ETA: I was pretty sure it was her. So I went and told my aunt. On the way out.. she goes, "I just saw her too" So unless we are both really bad at celebrity sightings I think it was her.. At least my Mom could laugh about it and we danced a little.

My DH used to see her in Citarella's in the hamptons all the time. I don't think she hangs out there anymore, it was 2 summers ago. He said she was kinda friendly and that her eyes are REALLY blue in person. She was usually wearing yoga clothes, not dressed up.

She's friends with a family member so we frequently see her at BBQs, parties.
One year, DH didn't recognize her and we had our then 1.5yo climbing up a kitchen counter. Dina made a comment to DH about how relaxed we are as parents and if it were her kid she'd be more nervous for the baby. DH laughed her off, saying, "yeah, he's the second kid," blah blah, picked up DS and walked outside not thinking anything of it.
On our ride home, I reminded him who it was, he laughed and said, "Did I just get reprimanded for my parenting skills by DINA LOHAN?" It's now a running joke in our home.

Lmao, I totally read it as Dina manzo! It makes more sense that Lohan would be in Nassau county though.
Dina L was probably celebrating that her daughter isn't the biggest skank in the country anymore.
