my mom's flight just took off a few minutes ago *UPDATE 2* a little less worried
she was supposed to take off at 7:10 now i have to stay up till she lands in LA. around 12 am. then she is off to Australia. She never has any luck with planes when going there.
UPDATE: well she made it to la just fine finally but only to have yet another delay why because there was something wrong with the plane  she called at 6:30 and said they where taking off in a few min and she was on the plane. ok good/ bad she is yet missing another connection flight. that makes number 3
ok so why am i worried... i used 2 different tracking sites and both are not showing they took off yet! how in the world am i supposed to work knowing that the plane my mom went on had a problem oh yeah the reason i am worried even more is did anyone see that plane earlier last week with the huge hole on the side.. well that is the airline she is on
UPDATE 2:
I called the airline after failing to track the flight she was on. I GOT SO NERVOUS they said she is to land in Sydney at 11:45 am their time. (NY time at 9:45 pm)  then from there i have to wait to hear what flight she will be taking to get to Brisbane my poor mom was soooo looking for a 1 transfer flight and it turned out to be 3 different ones she needed to take

thank you! she is so afraid of fling . she gets me all worked up and makes me nervous
eta: and it did not help that storm... i think i called her every half hour when that storm hit by me today when i was out in riverhead. then to her there was a twister in the area where she was before she went to the airport REALLY DID NOT HELP

i know what you mean. been there.
try your best to take a bit of a nap between now and the time she's expected to land... yes, easier said than done, but try.

ty! and i have to be at work at 9 she could not take a fight on a saterday or a monday night  then i would not have to worry about staying up all night

Its Quantas if its the same one as the having the 'hole' from last week.

To the OP- I assume she landed already? It is 8.45 Tuesday morning here.

NO sadly she has not landed yet i did call the airline and finally got a live person and they said the plane was deverted to sydney and then they are giving them a connection flight to brisbane. she is due to land at 11:45 your time
