What age did LO start the chewable vitamins?
DD's ped said she's at the age where they give the fluoride & iron multivitamin...but the iron is NASTY tasting and DD is refusing the drops. She always took the fluoride w/o the iron w/ no issues. I tasted the new drop with iron, and gagged myself b/c they are THAT gross.
She is 2 now and I wonder if she will do better with the chewable...or if I can go back to the drops w/o the iron.

My DD started the chewables when she turned 2. She enjoys taking these rather than the gross liquid

2 and he loves them! He asks for them as soon as he wakes up so I never forget to give them to him.

DD - 2 and DS 3. DS was my first and so I was just a nervous mama! I think 2 is fine as long as your DC doesn't have any issues with chewing!

We give DD a gummy vitamin. Probably not the best vitamin on the market, but better than her not taking one!

before 2! It was definitely on the early side b/c he refused the liquid ones.

15 months. She outright refused the liquid vitamins for months and I finally convinced the ped for a script for chewables. Now she loves taking her vitamin and asks for it every morning.

if kids have the teeth for it they can start earlier then two. My ds had all his teeth by like 15 months so he started then, he never would take the nasty liquid and he knew if I slipped it in

How are the chewables? Easy to chew? DD is 15 months and I really haven't given her the liquid because she makes herself throw up. She has most of her teeth and eats her Cheerios like a champ. I'm wondering if they'll give them at her 18 month appt.

18 months. DS has most of this teeth and chews like a champ. i was hesitant at first and cut it in half. He did fine and takes them whole now.
FYI - it broke easily in half and i am pretty sure it is very easy for them to chew.

We started at 18 months with my twins. They love them and think they are candy. It's so much better then the liquid. I cut them in half at first, but now at 21 months they chew them fine whole.
