If your kids get really sick at sleep away camp....
do they come home? Like if they caught the flu for 2 weeks what would typically happen?

I would seriously hope they would get sent home. I'm not sure if I would be comfortable with my kid sitting in an enfermary (sp) for 2 weeks.
You can probably call ahead and find out their policy.

I would imagine that the camp would have you come and get them for a serious illness. I'm sure there are rules an regulations about it. I would probably call the camp directly and ask them.

I worked at a sleep away camp. If a kid had the flu - or was sick for several days, they would be sent home. Don't need those kinda germs lingering in close quarters - and it's not the best environment for a sick child either.
