Milia - little white bumps
DD2 was born with a little white bump under one of her eyes. At first the ped said leave it alone and it should be gone by 6 weeks, and now she is saying we need to put a warm compress on it 3 times a day and that it may never go away.
Has anyone's DC had these? How long did they take to go away?
Is it crazy to bring her to a dermatologist for this?

Hailey had them on her nose i dont remember how long they lasted but they werent there immediately after birth they appeared about a week later... im pretty sure they were there for a few weeks

How old is your dd? Mine has it too and shes 8 weeks. I assumed it would go away but now I'm nervous.

i was told to not do anything and they will go away. I have never heard they may never go away.

DD is almost 6w. I thought it would too, but my ped made me nervous. Babycenter says they usually go away by 2-3w, and obviously that has long passed.

dd and ds had them on their noses. they didnt go away until 3.5 months for both of them

DS had it all over his nose... I don't remember exactly when it went away but it did eventually and very slowly. I just remember one day I noticed it was gone.
