Re: SAHM what's your day like with your 7month old
I never feel like I do enough either. I once googled what to do when she was 6 mos and came up with this...has some good ideas...
http://lovelivegrow.com/2011/12/45-things-to-do-with-a-6-month-old-baby/
So we read and play with toys, tummy time, practice sitting, etc and she still loves her playmat and jumperoo so she goes in those a few times a day! We also go on walks, run errands and try for 1-2 playdates a week or lunch out with DH or a friend.. She eats 2 meals a day and likes sitting in her high chair and I show her flash cards while she is in there. Sometimes we go outside on a blanket and play and when it gets warmer I will set up her baby pool!
Oh and she watches me do a workout dvd from her exersaucer a few times a week! Mama needs to get in shape!

Re: SAHM what's your day like with your 7month old
I think about this everyyyyyyyyday. I hear ya.
We play on our playmat - A LOT. I also put her in her jumparoo. She naps two- to three times a day for 1/2-2 hours each time (she loves sleep)...so when she's awake I try to take her across the street to the swings.
That's about it - except for the nighttime book we read.
Don't feel bad!

Re: SAHM what's your day like with your 7month old
dd will be 7 months next week... usually when she wakes for the day or after naps, I have her hang out in her crib for a while. I give her some stuffed animals and put the mobile on. sometimes i'm doing stuff and sometimes i'm in there entertaining her. she plays on her playmat while I work out... I have a 30min dvd that I work out to. i'm right next to her, and i'll count as i'm doing stuff for her, she's usually very happy. she likes me to hold her so she can watch while I brush my teeth, or empty the dishwasher. she gets really excited lol she usually spends some time in her walker in the kitchen, or occasionally on the patio if it's nice and i'm planting flowers etc. if we're outside, I have bubbles that I blow for her. I dance around the kitchen/house with her, to music on my ipad, bring her around to look in different mirrors. she can be content doing this for a long time lol she'll spend a solid 45min or so in her jumparoo; I sit with her and play with the toys on there and read books to her. we also spend a nice chunk of time playing with toys on her blanket. she gets solids 2x a day, and I have her spend a little extra time in her highchair after each feeding, to read a few books or play with a few toys. I sit in the glider with her in my lap and read to her. I take her everywhere. every morning, we go and get coffee. and most days, I take her on some kind of errand, unless family is coming over to visit. we go to the bank, library, target, food shopping, the mall, name it. she loves being out and about. some days we go for a long walk. if the weather is bad and we are stuck in the house all day, she'll usually watch a mickey mouse clubhouse. and every evening, she gets a bath & watches a baby Einstein dvd in her swing for 25-30min before bed.

Re: SAHM what's your day like with your 7month old
hi! just wanted to say...at 7 months...I let him tell me what to do. meaning...I had no arranged expectations. I would try to read but he would eat the book...I would try to do tummy time but he lost his mind...for me...just getting him to be happy was enough!!!! we put sooo much pressure on ourselves. I spent most my day just talking to him..cuddles... letting him explores shapes and toys and sounds....you are doing great!

Re: SAHM what's your day like with your 7month old
I feel like he's just getting dragged along all day.
First thing in the morning, he's in the exersaucer while I make breakfast for my older DD and straighten up the kitchen. Then I feed him breakfast. Then he sits on the floor outside of the bathroom while I get DD ready for school (we talk to him).
We bring DD to school, come home, he naps. When he wakes up, we go pick her up. Come home, he's in exersaucer again while I make DD lunch.
We play a little bit while DD is watching a show and napping.
Then he goes down for another nap. When he wakes up, we play with DD a little more. Then dinner, bath, bedtime routine, etc.
On days that my DD doesn't have school, we have more play time (which consists of toys, DD "checking" him when she plays doctor, him sitting with us while we play store, etc.)

Re: SAHM what's your day like with your 7month old
We don't do a ton over here, either.
Our days are broken up into small chunks. The morning is getting my older DD ready for school, so my LO is either in the exersaucer or in her high chair munching on Cheerios. After we get my older DD on the bus, we play for a little bit - read a couple of books, she crawls around and "plays" with toys.
Then she naps.
Once she wakes up, this is when we usually go out on errands. Nothing that is "fun" for her at all!
Then it's nap time again!
By the time she wakes up, my older DD is coming home from school, so she is usually playing on the floor. We go out and take my older DD to her activities, or go for a walk outside.
Then it's dinner time and bed!
All in all, we don't do much!
