Potty trained but hasnt had a bowel movement in days

DD 2 1/2 is basically potty trained. I would say in the past 2 weeks she has had 2 accidents. BUT she has not pooped in 4 days. Today is actually day 5 and I am really getting concerned. She has pooped twice on the potty and twice in a pull up since she started getting trained 2 weeks ago so I dont know why she wouldnt be going now. I even told her to just do it in her pull up and not to worry. She ate a whole apple last night and still nothing. What do I do??????

its SO common. My son has been trained for about 5-6 weeks. He averages 1 bm every 2-5 days She WILL poop! Try white grape juice or even prune mixed with apple.

My son held it for 4 days when we were potty training and it was not a good experience when he finally went. Check with your pediatrician, but I would give her some miralax so that it isn't too uncomfortable for her when she does go. Even though she might seem to be trained, it sounds to me like she is withholding her poop. Especially if she doesn't normally go this long without going. Also, I've always thought that apples are good for diarrhea, not constipation, since they are binding. Maybe try pears or prune juice.

DS wouldn't poop after he was fully potty trained. I think he was a little scared. I gave him miralax mixed in some milk and honestly that solved the problem in about 2 days. I continued doing this once a day/every other day for about a month and then didn't need to do again.
