Playgrounds - Commack area
Looking for some different playgrounds to bring the DD, now that the weather is getting nice, YAY!
Anyone have the location of any, street names would be great so I can try and find it, it's not easy to find different playgrounds unless you just drive around the neighborhoods!

There is a really nice one on Townline road, called Sunshine Acres. It has the nice spongy turf (not mulch or sand). It is fully fenced and great for very small kids. There is a parking lot and it's down the hill. It's North of Jericho, right past Pumpkin Patch nursery.

These are the ones we go to most often. I know you only asked for Commack but here are some other local town ones we like.
Commack:
Sunshine Acres
Hoyt Farm
Flynn Park
Smithtown:
Maple Ave
Kings Park Library has a playground
Northport Village has 2 playground areas
And right now you can get into Sunken Meadow after 3pm or 6pm (cant remember the time) for free

Playgrounds - Commack area
We live in Commack.
We love Mr. P's playground in East Northport. It's also called Veterans Memorial park. I don't know what street it's on, but I know you can find it online b/c that's how I did last year.
It's awesome.

Is Phelps lane in Commack? Maybe that's deer park? Phelps lane is nice.

Yes! Bellerose Ave. We love this park!
Also, the East Northport Library has a park (w/sand). (Larkfield Road).
Elwood Park (I believe it's Cuba Hill Road) is nice too.

There is one on wicks rd behind the ball field which is right next to the water tower.
