When would you give the 2nd dose of Zithromax?

When would you give the 2nd dose of Zithromax?
We went to pm pediatrics last night with my 1.5 yr old and she had a ear infection. We gave her a dose of Zithromax at 10 pm...(thank god for 24 hr pharmacy and pm pediatric late hours)
But when would you give dose #2. - today or should I wait closer to 24 hrs and give tonight! I want to help her feel better nd I know after 2 doses I always feel better...
I am going to call the ped when he opens - but just wanted to hear what you ladies think?

If its once a day I would probably give it to her around 2? But I would also check with dr to see if it is ok to give it her earlier. Hope she feels better!

I would wait till at least dinner time because the first dose is usually a double dose to begin with

Thanks ladies...my dr said after dinner!
I kinda figured that...was hoping to give it a little early..but she is already feeling a little better today...crossing figures it lasts through tonight as well!
