DC/Grandmother Photoshoot questions
My 19 month old twins are having their very first professional Photoshoot with my mom for Mother's Day. My mom is very sick and I want my kids to treasure this photo forever.
Any particular colors that look better on camera?
Should I coordinate outfits? If so, what are some ideas you would wear on B/g twins.
Should I bring toys with me to entertain them?
Do I need to bring my own props?
I'm so nervous. I just want everything to be perfect, but with my twins that are all over the place I'm thinking it's going to be a little crazy.

I can't comment on colors because I'm clueless. But with my b/g twins I usually pick out a dress for my dd. if it is a print I take one of the colors and have my ds wear that color polo. If its solid I get a print shirt for ds (maybe a plaid button down) with that color in it. But like I said I'm clueless when it comes to fashion!

 to you--I know this has to be hard and I get you wanting a great shoot--no matter what, it is going to be beautiful! :)
I like what the pp wrote--and I even would see if your mom can coordinate with them too! also, I would def. do cheery colors--not white or dark!
Where will the photoshoot be?
ETS: the photographer should have props but you can bbring anything you feel is special or want photographed, etc.

Just find one dress/shirt you really like and build from there. I am doings shoot on Friday of my two DS and my 14 year old niece to give my mom for Mothers Day. I saw a plaid shirt and I was really drawn to the colors. I pulled the mint green and got my younger DS a 3/4 sleeve sweater. Then I pulled the coral color for my niece. I couldn't find any shirts I liked, so I got her coral skinny jeans and she'll wear a white tank top and jean jacket. You can always get your mom and nice scarf to match the kids.

Thank you all. I she is well enough for the Photoshoot, but the babies make her strong and want to fight.

The photog should be able to tell you about props they have. As for toys, I don't recommend showing them anything that you don't want in the photos. As you know kids have one track minds. show them a cell phone and thats all they want for the rest of the shoot lol. Pick a dress for your DD then pull a solid color for your DS. (vest, button up, jeans, etc.) They will probably be fine just hanging out with your mom.  I think it's great that you are doing this!

What a wonderful idea. You should also take a picture with the 4 of you.
We often take pics at Penney's & I would say bring props if you have an idea or suggestion....You can also ask wherever you are going what they have ahead of time.

I didn't see the Groupon for picture people.

i know we FMed awhile back as we're both dealing with the same thing. i have been thinking of you. please let me know how you are all doing. and i LOVE the photoshoot idea.... i would LOVE to do this with the kids and my dad for father's day. like your mom, he keeps fighting for them. let me know how it goes!!! :) love to you all!
