Sesame Place Questions /Please touch mus/zoo

How many hours does it take to go through Sesame Place? DS is 2 so we will go on whatever rides he can go on plus whatever shows/parades they have but we are skipping the water stuff. Trying to figure if we go when it opens will we be done by afternoon or dinner time?

Do the local hotels have shuttle service to the park? I see they charge for parking

Also if anyone has been to the Please Touch museum or the Philly Zoo - about how many hours to go through those?

We went to Please Touch last year when DD was around the same age. She loved it. We stayed there for about 2 hours or so. I think she could have stayed longer but was getting pretty tired at that point so we left but it's really nice. I haven't been to the others but definitely do the Museum if you can.

We're going in a couple of weeks to the Please Touch museum and Sesame Place. From the research i did, most of the hotels near SP have free shuttle service. I heard SP is not a full day thing, so we're actually splitting it up into 2 days due to the timing of the shows and parade. And doing one day in Philly for the museum and whatever else we want to do there.

Sesame Pl is more of a water park. The majority of attractions are water related. We took DS when he was ~17m, 2.5 yo and 3.5 yo. He enjoyed the water attractions at all 3 ages. We plan to go again this summer.

That being said, even with the water attractions, we only stayed for about 3 hours each time we went. That included 1-2 shows, lazy river, dry rides and wet attractions. The park is very small.

We have been to the Please Touch Museum a few times. We go for about 2 hours. We went in the morning and left for lunch. This is a great children's museum!

We live a bit closer to PA so for us these are day trips. For Sesame Place we would go from 10 am - 3 pm. More than 1/2 of the activities are water related so both you and your kids need bathing suits and items that are easy to change out of/into. If you only did the shows/parade/non-water park park it might be a two hour event, but for the price, I would want to take advantage of the entire park.

As for the please touch museum we went a few weeks ago. My kids are a bit older (3 and 5) and we spent about 4 hours there. It was perfect for them. I think younger kids could have fun there too but I would only spend an hour or two.

Something else to look into is the Crayola Factory but it does not reopen until May.
