Iron Deficiency
So I have to take an iron supplement on top of the prenatals that I'm already taking. Does this mean the babies are just draining me of my iron, or are they not getting enough either? Can a lack of iron be harmful to the babies?

The babies will always get what they need, especially iron. If anyone is going to be low in iron, it will be you not them

I had low iron with my first pregnancy and had to take iron supplements as well. Make sure you drink some prune or apple juice because the supplement will constipate you.

I have to take them also but they give me extreme heartburn, I felt better taking them every other day doctor said that was fine
