Edited w a ? - How long did you use the infant car seat for?
When did you switch dc out of the infant car seat into a convertible one?

When I was preg my BFF was like don't buy an infant car seat I used mine like, just borrow mine. So I took hers. But she's due in 7 weeks. Dd is almost 7mos, 25 inches and 16lbs. She is smallish according to dr but looks like she fits well in the car seat.
I love the snap and go and often she falls asleep and I can keep her sleeping in her room in the car seat. I dreaded the buckling and unbuckling and carrying. So should I suck it up and buy one? I figure since it'll be summer she'll have light clothes on and fit better than winter.
Or should I get over it and buy a convertible now since ill have to anyway?

Dd is still in at 10 months... She's only 27 inches. I plan on keeping her in it until the nicer weather comes.

But ds is a peanut and even now, at almost 2, he's only 22 pounds.

3 months ... DS is a giant and out-grew it (height-wise) at that point

Our first, we switched at 18 months. Our second is bigger, and at 15 months now, we are planning to switch him this week.

dd1- 6 months
dd2- She is 9 months and still in it. I hate it so much. She already weighs 18lbs and the seat is so heavy but because this weather is miserable its just easier to keep her in it it.

7 mos for my older DD. It was just too heavy!
(My younger one is 5 mos old and still in it - no clue when we'll switch her out)

Still using it at 11 months. Definitely won't switch until it's warmer out, plus I don't want to give up my snap and go!

DS was about 7 1/2 -8 months. He was outgrowing it height wise. Not even near the weight limit.
I was very sad to not have the snap&go any more!!!
