BTDT moms - what crib mattress did you pick?
I registered the other day and the mattress I registered for is $230...is this the average price? What mattress do you have?

BTDT moms - what crib mattress did you pick?
I have a sealy soybean. I think I paid like $125. It was rated highly in baby bargains. Dd has only been sleeping on it for 6 months now but I have no complaints.

I got this one and love it!
Just remember, people will have a set amount they want to spend for your shower present. Over $200 is often a group gift...

I agree! But the lady at BBB made me feel like I was cheaping out LOL

 I would have made a snarky comment like "hmm, how about you buy it for me then" ... I was a no holds barred pregnant beotch LOL
The cheaper the items (assuming quality is still high), the more stuff you'll get that you won't have to buy yourself... Much more important... And trust me, your child won't know the difference between a $100 mattress and a $200 mattress

Colgate classics II as well! And I just picked one up for my friend. With a coupon it came to $120. Originally $150. It gets great reviews!!

We paid about $250 for our crib mattress 3 yrs ago. And we actually bought 2 of them, one for us and one for crib at grandparents house. I figure my DS was going to be spending a lot of time in his crib between bedtime sleep plus naps so I wanted him to be comfortable. DH and I spent a good amount on our own mattess so we did the same for DS. I saw no reason to go with cheaper options for an item that was going to get so much use. Preg again and expect to spend at least as much this time also.

SAME. We have the Simmons Beautyrest Beginnings Diamond Nights Crib Mattress from buy buy baby.
