Don't you love science? Even at 37yrs old those lovely doctors can diagnose something they say I've had forever but never knew. This time its called Meniere's Disease. Mostly harmless but causes severe vertigo and hearing loss (which I already had).

Last year's dizzy bouts put me in at a nuerologist. Brain CT scan and all was well.

This year's severe bout and I went to an ENT (duh, right?). I felt like it was an ear infection (pressure pain, even less hearing than normal).

He said it was Meniere's. I am on a diuretic and low sodium diet. I got back next week to see if I improved. But its a disease not just a bout of something so I've got to make some life long changes if I want to manage it.

But she's so cute..

I'm not even sure she heard our conversation about my new low sodium diet to help reduce the water in my inner ear. But she knows the rules for mama.

She'll go to my hubby and I hear her ask "Can mama share some bread with me?" "No salt right?" then she'll hop over to me all happy and say "Mama, I have a surprise for you! bread no salt" haha!

And I LOVE that she grabs my head between her small hands and gives me a deep look into my eyes and serious look and says "are you busy, I mean dizzy?"
