Sharing my story...
One year ago today I went in for my Egg Retrieval. They got 22 eggs, 17 fertilized. We only put back one the first time and then froze 4 embryos. The first cycle failed. My first FET we put back 2 embryos and that failed. We then put back the last 2 embryos. Those 2 embroys became twins who were born 11/9/11.
It took 18 months to get pregnant. Our diagnosis was male factor infertility. My husbands SA was only 1 million and at one time it was 0. It was the hardest and sadest time of my life. I was giving up hope of ever having children and was depressed a lot. I really thought I would never get a positive test.
Today I am sitting here with my one daughter (my other daughter is coming home today) and I am no longer crying from the sadness I am crying because my girls are my miracles.
I just wanted to let people know there is a light at the end of that dark tunnel. Always listen to your gut on things and do what is right for you. The first Dr. I saw at the practice I went to kept saying I should only do 1 embryo at a time that I was young and it would eventually work. Well I did not listen and changed the Dr. I saw and I am so happy I did.

This is beautiful of you to come share on this board and give others hope. I've been having anxiety for 2 months now and this helped alleviate the anxiety at least for a few minutes.

Congratulations of your little girls! Thank you so much for sharing. I tend to forget that miracles do happen, and it takes reading/hearing something like this to remind me and become hopeful again.
