I have seen every season but I haven't watched a single episode yet of this season.
I'm turned off by who the judges are and in all honesty, I sort of hate the early part of the season anyway. Maybe I will try once they start narrowing it down but still, I think their choice of judges this season was terrible.

Ughh I can't take it anymore. I had to turn it off last night. Niki Minaj drives me insane!!!! I think she makes Mariah look normal

Is anyone watching American Idol?
I've been watching Idol since the start. I truly cannot sit through this season because of Nicki Minaj. The producers seriously messed up going after her as a judge.
She is horrible and talks over the other judges and thinks that she actually has more knowledge and expertise than the other 3. I mean really?? You've been on the music scene for all of 2 seconds
I wish they would let her go before the live shows start...then I can get back into it!

So sad that this is where the music industry has gone. The fact that the younger generation considers her talented makes me cringe. I chuckle to myself when people on the tryouts immediately are smitten with Mariah and could give a rats ass about Nikki.

I watched the first episode just to see how the judges were, but haven't watched any other eps. I normally don't watch until the live shows start anyway.

I think Niki Minaj is going to lose a lot of fans after they realize how annoying she is. It was not a good move on her part to take on AI. She was on Ellen recently and she seemed truly embarrassed by her behavior and said she's not looking forward to the live shows.

I can not watch with Nicki on. I had to turn it off last night because she seriously annoys me. They did a big disservice having her on the panel this year. I think they are going to lose alot of viewers.

I guess I'm in the minority. This is definitely my least favorite group of judges, but Niki Minaj hasn't bothered me, although I have never really paid attention to her outside of AI.
If my kids didn't watch it I probably wouldn't anymore, but it's on in my house so it kind of just sucks me in...

I've watched every year since season one and this is the first year I may just not care too much about it...Nicki is terrible and monopolizes it all, Keith I love, Mariah is nicer than I thought she would be...but it's just not the same anymore.

I always watch because I love the show. This group of judges are not my fave, but I don't care. Mariah is my least favorite...she's very strange. I think Nicki is pretty funny and sweet to the contestants.
And Keith...let me just say...I never knew anything about this guy other than he's a country singer and he's married to Nicole Kidman...and his hair always looks way too in place. But after watching him on Idol...I freaking love this guy. He seems super nice and I just think he's adorable.
