The female contestant, a 25 year old mother of 2, who was in the marine corps, geez, what have I been doing ???

Yes - there is a lot of 'filler' that I could do without. We went thru the first 45 live minutes on DVR in about 15.
Is it me, or are the gladiators not as good as they were in the earlier series? They seemed much tougher and harder to beat back then, or was it just because I was younger.
