an internet theory going around is that Lana is the modern bloodyface but Im not sure how much sense that would make in many respects. Didnt Dylan McDermot's character kill the psych??
Also how about the angel of death as the new inmate?!?!?!?
unless she became the devil when she kissed Sister Eunice?!

american horror story 1/16 - DISCUSS (SPOILERS)
Interesting rumor, but wouldn't Lana be in her 70s now? I can't see her overpowering those young men in the asylum at the beginning of the series...If it's anyone but Dylan McDermot, which I don't think it is, maybe it's Kit? He lost the women he loved, Lana turned her back on shutting the place down, he had been accused of being Bloodyface, he's younger than Lana & a man, so he'd probably be able to overpower some youngins'. Maybe he gives up the kids, loses his mind & moves into the asylum...

ok this may be a stupid question but in the scene when lana and kit have coffee, kit leaves the shop and gets into his truck. then they show lana's son sitting in HIS car, and it appears that he was watching kit and lana. but chronologically, that wouldnt make sense right? bc in 1969 he'd only be like 2 or 3. the way it was shot it appeared that he and kit existed in the same time, but i guess they skipped a few decades and made it look seamless? i dunno. was anyone else thrown by that?

The scene with Lana was in the 60s or whenever they filmed it back in the day. They were setting up the scene with her signing the copies of her books. Her son was sitting in the car in present day and went into that same store to find the book. They overlapped the scenes but they were two different time periods.

I fell asleep the first half this aired. I was just so tired of the alien piece to this. Did see the rest of it and thought it got better. I think next season will be some kind of witchcraft/voodoo story. I don't like how the Monsignor got out who knows if he will reappear next episode. There was a lot of great acting this season. Overall loved it even though theres one more episode to go.

Creator Ryan Murphy shares even more details about what's ahead in the once more rebooted third season:
The thing that I really wanted to do next season was something that's funnier. I love this season and I think it was successful, but I really miss that Jessica Lange as Constance stuff, and I know she missed it, too. The only thing I'll say about [season three] is that it's a mixture of several cities, and it's really about female power. I got Jessica to do it because I did everything she asked, which was the location, and I also told her that she would have complete hair and make-up and the best designer gowns, ever. She said, "Please don't put me in a wimple again, ever!" So, she's going to play a real glamor cat lady, in season three... I come up with the story and, obviously, it's always now crafted around Jessica, for the most part. Before I talk to anybody, I go to her and tell her what the story is and what the character is, and then she has input. This year, she said, "I would like to work with X, Y and Z. Will you please meet with these people?" So, I'm doing that. I will say that, for season three, we're going to have some actors from season one, who will return... It's more historical in nature. I'm also interested in getting into a horror romance. That's certainly something that's going to be in the water for season three. I think you'll see a very different tone in season three, but that's the joy of the show. As a person, right now, I do feel lighter and maybe want to embrace something a little bit more fun... There will be time periods, and there will also be different cities.

IMO, this doesn't sound promising.
Let one of the actors run the show, and make a 'horror show' lighter and more fun. I guess there will be more dance performances.

I was at first.
I said to DH WHO is that.
He said- her son.
I said HUH?
Then I was like- oh it's present day.
OOOKKK
They didn't transition that well at all

I can't believe the season finale is next episode. I feel like there are too many loose ends to tie up and it won't all make sense in the end.

IMO, this doesn't sound promising.
Let one of the actors run the show, and make a 'horror show' lighter and more fun. I guess there will be more dance performances.
Even though season one was high on the creep factor...it was MUCH lighter (and sometimes even funny) than season 2. Maybe season 3 won't be as dark as this season.

The character of Jessica Lange being so glam and cat like sounds fantastic for her
I like the concept of different cities as well
But not sold on the "tone" he is describing
Season 3 is the final one, right?
