Stahl Eyecare Experts, they have an office in Garden City, Manhattan and Hauppauge. DH went for his consult in Hauppauge but I believe all the surgeries are done in Garden City. Dr. Werner is really great. DH got lasik done this past September and he was seeing 20/20 the next day.

My DH needs this done as well. I saw great reviews about Dr. Dello Russo but i want to know other peoples experiences.

I had vision correction surgery at Stahl 7 years ago with Dr. Chang and do not recommend them. My cousin's wife had a similarly negative experience there. Perhaps with another doctor there you'll have a better experience, but I would never go back there or recommend them to anyone myself. My parents both were "pioneers" in the vision correction surgery before they even used lasers and were treated by Dr. Stahl before he died, in my opinion the place has become a money making machine since then and the quality of the services has suffered.

ITA. DH went to him and a few other places for consultations because he is nearly blind in one eye so he wanted to see if he was a candidate. Dr. Donnenfeld was the only one to tell DH that it would be a waste of money and went into detail as to why. He's at OCLI. He was recommended by a friend who used him for LASIK about 7 years ago and raves about him.

Went for a consult in his office right before Christmas & walked out very dissatisfied & feeling like something was just NOT right. His price was much higher then any other place plus there was NOT one patient in the waiting room or any of his exam rooms. I felt like I was getting the runaround.
I just went on Wednesday to the Stahl Eye Center in Garden City & met with Dr. Hufnagel. I was super impressed. His manner was very professional & he really seemed to know his stuff. His office staff was right on the ball & so friendly. I am scheduled for my Lasik on Feb 7th!

I got my eyes done over the summer at stahl also with Dr Werner and had a great experience

Stahl. I had it done about 3 years ago, and had a great experience with them. I used Dr. Hufnagel, he was amazing!

Stahl eye center. I had mine done about 5 years ago and it was the best thing I have ever done. Dr. Werner did my surgery. I had no complications at all. I had a little discomfort when I first came home. I took a nap and by the time I woke up about an hour later I was fine. No discomfort at all. I was able to watch tv later that night and was seeing completely clear in the morning. I was given the green light to drive the next day. I only had to take 1 day off of work. It was great. Definitely recommend stahl and dr. werner

I agree. He was great! I had my LASIK done by him over 15 years ago. And I had amazing results.
My boss had it done by someone (sorry, wish I knew the name) years ago and has nothing but problems. Still! I think a big issue was that he was not the right cadidate for it so the doctor should have never done it on him.

He also works with Dr Perry which my husband used for a different eye procedure.

had lasik done 8 years ago at Stahl and had a bad experience... they did not correct my vision to 20/20 and refused to re-correct it saying that there was no guarantee. years later i don't have clear vision, and although its better than it was, i have to wear glasses when i drive at least.
