9 month old starting to refuse bottle

My DS will be 9 months next week, and I have noticed that he can't be bothered with bottles anymore. During the day he will only drink at most 3-4 oz at a time, and will wake up at 1am screaming his lungs out bc he is starving (he used to STTN). He is acting totally fine so I know he's not sick, and I haven't changed formulas or bottles. He eats 3 meals a day but pediatrician said at 7 month checkup that he should still be drinking 24-30 oz a day. Is this normal for the baby to not want formula? I feel bad bc he is STARVING in the middle of the night, he will drink 9oz in like 5 seconds.
Thanks for any insight on this !

Is he teething? DD was (stil is a bad drinker) when teething. We are working on the 2 yr molars these days. Maybe try a sippy cup and see if he likes that better? DD hated her formula so I can't give any advice on the amount he should drink.

9 month old starting to refuse bottle

DS stopped taking the bottle around that time too. I was still breastfeeding, so he did eat in the morning and at night from me, but refused the bottle I would send him to daycare with. DS did drink from a straw cup at that point and we tried putting the BM in there, which he didn't want, but maybe your DS would. We also started giving him more food during the day to try to supplement the fact that he wasn't taking his bottle. He would have yogurt and/or cheese and crackers. His teachers said he was fine during the day, but he was pretty ravished when I picked him up in the late afternoon.

Good luck!
