I am crying here, have been for the last 20 minutes. I don't understand.
The mall, the movies, school etc...NOWHERE Is sacred. Sick individuals in this world ready to wipe out someones life with a bullet. Entire families destroyed in an instant.
I seriously am sick over it. I want to go to school and hug my son right now. PRAYING for these families whose lives are forever changed

I couldn't agree more. I'm here at work crying like a baby knowing that shit like this can happen anywhere. My girls are in school right now, a place where you think they could be safe.

i feel so badly for this community. waiting to hear back but I know some of these kids are my sister's patients - same town. She works in a Ped/Primary care office. I cannot imagine.
Those poor, poor families. My heart is broken into a million pieces for them.
ETA - Newtown is a quiet, sleepy, wonderful town. I am sure everyone there is shaken to the core. Apparently this man came from NJ? WHY?

i think about the police that have to search the classrooms and see these little bodies. these cops will never be the same.
i think about the parents that have not yet located/spoke to their kids. they must be frantic
i think about the gunman and wish he were alive to answer questions. he needs to serve a life sentence

^^^ this is just too much for me. It doesn't get any worse other than ID'ing your child. Honest to god - I will never understand why people do these things, how people can be so cruel. They were babies. I am heart broken.

They're saying that the gunman went from room to room shooting. I am bawling my eyes out right now. I can't even comprehend this, nevermind explain this to my older DD
