I haven't given them yet because the fact that they're so big makes me nervous. I started giving DD puffs this week and she is loving them! She's so proud every time she gets it into her mouth, lol.

I hated those biscuts. Its all good until a large chunk breaks off - can you say choking hazard??? Not to mention they are soooo messy! I bought a box and after realizing this held off on them until DS was a year and had more teeth and I knew he wouldnt choke. Now he loves his "cookies."

You can if you're comfortable with it. I wouldn't/didn't at that age. Like a pp said a big chunk can break off and it made me too nervous.

That happened to me when I gave one to my DD. It scared the crap out of me. I would recommend teething toys and the sassy teether that is like a terry cloth pouch on a ring like handle. You can put an ice cube in it. Also Motrin.

Re: can i give ds teething biscuits?
Try puffs. They disolve quick enough so that they cant choke, but it lets them practice not only chewing but fine motor skills as well.

Re: can i give ds teething biscuits?
DS choked on a couple of bits that came off of an Earths Best one... That was the end of them... The bits are too hard for them to swallow... Try puffs...

How do you say he is not teething if he has 2 teeth? Anyway, I also say no... wait if you can.
Start with puffs or mum mums

Re: can i give ds teething biscuits?
I don't like MumMums bc they are made in China. I like puffs to start with.

Good call. They melt in the mouth so your DS could pretty much swallow one whole and be fine 15 seconds later. My DD is 15 months old and I still break up graham crackers, etc. into Cheerios-sized pieces.

Re: can i give ds teething biscuits?
DS is 9 months. He loves the banana Mum Mums. He's also been having puffs and does well with Cheerios. I have given him the Gerber Arrowroot cookies too and he eats them with no problem. He's always been good with foods though, he's had 8 teeth since he was 6 months old!

Re: can i give ds teething biscuits?
I used to give DS bagel chunks at that age. The biscuits crumble so much and they gag on the big pieces.
