Strawberries for a 9 mo old?

I want to give my LO a bigger variety of fruit (he loves apples and pears). Can infants eat blended strawberries? Im asking here bc I dont remember seeing them in baby food jars, which makes me think maybe they arent good for infants? Someone told me also strawberries are common for allergic reactions. Is this true? Thx

There is something about the strawberries being raw vs. them being prepared in some way. I've been giving my DD freeze dried strawberries (tiny fruits brand) since about 8 months. But I dont think she has ever had them raw yet.

My doc said it was fine. I started giving them to dd after 6 months - I steam them for a few minutes, let them sit for a minute just to strain out the juice a bit (it's a little sour), and then puree them. She loves them!
