Re: Breakfast Ideas for a 1 year old
We do eggs and waffles a lot. If we are in a rush, baby sitter does breakfast with him and they have pancakes a lot. Usually a banana too. DS had low iron, has since been corrected, so I like to give eggs as much as possible.

Re: Breakfast Ideas for a 1 year old
She usually always has some type of fruit at breakfast (her favorite are bananas, blueberries, cantaloupe, watermelon)
Then either yogurt, eggs, waffle, pancakes

Can baby have blueberries because of skin? Do you have to cut them?

Breakfast Ideas for a 1 year old
DS is 4 but he needs to eat breakfast on the go.
I make scrambled eggs (eggs, milk) and pour into a muffin tin. You can make mini muffins since DC is small. SPRAY THE PAN WITH PAM - learned the hard way. 1/2 thru baking I add Canadian bacon and cheese. Depending on how many teeth DC has you might want to eliminate the bacon. You can add soft veges. I made enough for 3 days or so and just warm them up in the morning.
Ask the doc about whole eggs/just egg whites/or a mix.
I bet a 1 year old would like to feed him/herself.

Re: Breakfast Ideas for a 1 year old
Blueberry skin is ok. Always cut them in half - or in quarters if they're big - because they shouldn't be swallowing anything round (same goes for grapes, string cheese, hot dogs, etc).
DD can't have eggs so her options for breakfast are more limited. She gets fruit every morning - usually cut blueberries, grapes, or strawberries - and yogurt. If we're out of yogurt, she'll get toast or a bagel with cream cheese. If DH is feeling particularly motivated he'll make her waffles or pancakes from scratch, using applesauce instead of eggs.

I use yo baby or Gerber yogurt, as long as it is whole milk it is fine. For oatmeal I have used regular instant quaker and added fruit.
