My son got his first haircut in 5 years!!!
Well, not his first haircut. He's had trims here and there. But he's enrolling in the Sea Cadets this weekend and had to get it all cut off!!!
Here's the before and after...
SO proud of my handsome boy!!!

Thanks everybody! I was so used to his long hair, I can't believe how handsome he looks with it short!!
The Sea Cadets is like a junior Navy program. It's actually run by the Navy out of various reserve bases. They learn military stuff (marching, history, the basic military requirements). They go away for a "boot camp" in the summer, and have the opportunity to do all kinds of training programs... everything from medic training, seamanship, survival training, EOD, some boys even do a modified SEAL training! THey go to the base for one weekend every month, and go away over the summer.
It's an incredible program, he's so excited to start!
