would u throw a car seat out if???
DC threw up in it, all over it and u were not home? DD choked on a pretzel Tonight (I will never let her eat in the car again) and she threw up like 6 times at least. She and the seat were covered. Dh & I were in the parking lot of a Verizon store & we couldn't even begin to try to lean the seat to put her back in it. A babies r us was right there so we got another seat & threw this out. Dd is 3. My ds is 6 months & will probably use it unless he needs one before she grows out of it. I feel guilty we threw it out but sooo gross.

I hope she feels better. Yes, I think I would have done the same thing. There was one time my DD ate pop chips at a friends house, and she vomited for about 5 minutes straight. It was awful. Had she been in the car, I would have needed a new car seat for her too. I ended up getting a present for our friends as the deck was just destroyed with vomit.

This happened to us with a $300 car seat. We were 30 min from home and had nothing to clean the seat bc it was a brand new car...ugh! He just kept throwing up and it just kept seeping into the seat. There was no way to clean it properly bc it seeped into all the parts of the car seat. Thank goodness my sister had an extra car seat we could use until we bought DS one of the car seats that can concert to a booster seat when he is ready.

Just an FYI, I went to the car wash on Friday and they had a sign up saying that they clean car seats for $25. Might be worth trying especially if your carseat is $$$.

I threw mine out a few weeks ago due to the same thing....I don't think the smell would have ever come out 
it was all from milk...

I threw mine out a few weeks ago due to the same thing....I don't think the smell would have ever come out
it was all from milk...
Same thing happened here. I TRIED to clean it but the smell was terrible.
