What to take to a playdate?
DS, age 3, has a playdate at the home of a child in his nursery school class.
I don't really know the mom well, but she was nice enough to bring her son to DS' bday party which was at the beginning of the school year.
What do I bring to the playdate? I don't want to show up empty handed. Playdate is at 11 AM. I've only ever had playdates with friends.

I don't think you need to bring anything to a casual playdate.

I brought a box of cookies....now you never know if they allow their child to eat cookies but I figured I had to bring something as a token. Turns out the child loved hte cookies and the mom def didnt disapprove.

I would bring some kind of food - a dessert or snack that the mom and kid would like.
