11:30 or 12:00 Start time for 4 yo Party?
Do you think it matters-- will prob do lunch (pizza) first while we also have music playing and face painting, then entertainment after for 50 mins and cake at end.

I would go with 1200. Before 1200 just seems too early to me.

Re: 11:30 or 12:00 Start time for 4 yo Party?
Just wanted to add, some children have dance class or some activity on a Saturday morning. So I say 1200 or 1230. Curious what others think, if they rather the party early to end earlier.

I don't see that a half hour makes much of a difference, honestly. To me, either would be fine.

Re: 11:30 or 12:00 Start time for 4 yo Party?
Ha- I decided to do it at 12. Honestly was trying more to work around DS's schedule, rather than DD-- whose party it is. He's turning 1 the same week, but I am sure will still have his AM nap, and I need to go to the room and set up, etc.
I am just gonna have the kids eat first, then do cake at the end.
Another question-- since I am doing cake at end-- should I maybe do cupcakes instead so kids don't necessarily have to come back to the table to eat?

eh, I would still do a cake to gather the kids together for pictures, and singing happy bday.

I don't think it matters but I personally would put 11:30 because everyone is always a little late. If you put 11:30 on the invitation, most people will show up closer to 12.
For our last party, I put 10:30 for the invitation time. We had entertainment at 11. I'd say 90% of our guests arrived at 11.
